MassAbility
MassAbility provides services that break down barriers and empower people with disabilities to live life in their own terms. Their programs focus on training and employment, community living, and disability determination for federal benefit programs. Formerly Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission, our agency guided them through an extensive rebrand, developing everything from a new visual identity, sonic logo, messaging framework and more. We created interim campaigns (before rebrand launch), developed marketing assets, branded events, and directed and produced photo and video shoots.
Info Packet
We created a package of resources to introduce people to MassAbility and their services. The info packet consisted of a pocket folder, pamphlets, and a comprehensive booklet. This will be handed out at job fairs, events, and MassAbility’s offices.
Returns on Inclusion (ROI)
MRC offers a tax credit to incentivize employers to hire individuals with disabilities. To increase awareness of the program, we created a campaign to appeal to business leaders.
The Concept
Employing people with disabilities in your organization isn’t a risk. Even beyond tax credits, it’s a smart business decision. Companies with inclusive hiring practices reap many rewards.
90 percent increase in retention of valued employees
72 percent increase in employee productivity
45 percent increase in workplace safety
28 percent experience increased profitability
Yet disabled people are not numbers. They’re the familiar faces of colleagues that you see everyday, like Graham, Roxy, and Maddie.
Since research has shown that employers are more likely to participate in hiring a more diverse talent pool if they feel like they are benefitting their company, this campaign encourages companies to do better business.
